Every South Indian home has the same alarm clock. It's not a phone. It's the sizzle of batter hitting a hot pan.
We grew up with it. Golden dosas stacked on a plate, chutney that lingered long after the meal, and someone telling you to eat one more. Then ambition happened. New cities, new deadlines, quick bites eaten over keyboards. And suddenly the simplest joy of our mornings became a complicated pursuit — too far, too costly, and never quite like home.
The snack aisle didn't help. Everything tasty felt like a bad decision. Everything healthy tasted like a punishment. And nothing — nothing — tasted like where we came from.
So we went back to the source. Real dosa batter, rice and lentils, fermented for hours the way it's always been done. Then we asked one stubborn question: what if this could crunch?
Hundreds of iterations later — tasted, rejected, and re-tasted by family and friends who don't spare feelings — Tiffin Bells was born. Dosa, reimagined as a chip. Air-fried, never deep-fried. Nothing artificial. All the sourness, all the comfort, none of the guilt.
The name? That's for the bell that meant everything at 11 a.m. — the one that said: open the lid, find your favorite thing, share it with your friends.
That bell is ringing again.
